A substantial black leather journal with the presence of an old ritual volume. The dark cover is embossed with the words Book of Shadows among a pentagram, interlaced knotwork, botanical forms and other symbolic details.
Hand-stitched edging frames the cover, while an antiqued metal side fastening keeps the book closed between uses. Its large format and approximately 700 g weight give it a reassuringly solid character, suited to a writing desk, altar, library shelf or cabinet of collected objects.
Inside are 200 deckle-edged pages with an intentionally uneven, timeworn appearance. The generous page size offers space for extended writing, illustrations, tarot layouts, personal reflections, research notes or the creation of a private grimoire.
Each journal is handcrafted from leather and paper in India. Small differences in the leather grain, colouring, embossed details, stitching and page edges are part of its individual character rather than imperfections.
