Black Macramé Fringe Chandelier Shade

A dramatic handwoven chandelier shade formed from cascading layers of black cotton fringe. The soft, tiered silhouette creates movement and texture overhead, turning a ceiling light into a substantial focal point for a bedroom, dining area, reading room or darker living space.

At approximately 80 cm high and 50 cm across the top, this is a large statement piece rather than a conventional compact lampshade. The lower section narrows to approximately 30 cm, giving the hanging form a sculptural outline while allowing the long black fibres to fall freely.

Each chandelier shade is handwoven in Indonesia using locally produced cotton rope. Slight differences in the weave, fringe length, shape and finish are part of its handmade character.

The light fitting and bulb are not included. Attach the shade only to a suitable compatible ceiling fitting and use an LED, low-energy or energy-efficient bulb that remains cool. Do not use bulbs that generate significant heat, and keep the cotton fibres safely clear of the bulb.
